ClearSpec is built with privacy in mind. Here's how we handle your data.
When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials (managed by Supabase). When you use ClearSpec, we store the specifications you create, including all sections, versions, and metadata.
Your specifications are sent to OpenAI's API to generate clarification questions, synthesize structured specs, and perform gap analysis. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your specs are yours — we store them solely to provide you the service.
Your data is stored in Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security enabled — you can only access your own specifications. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We use essential cookies for authentication session management and a theme preference stored in localStorage. Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymous usage tracking.
You can delete your specifications at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
